Today, a female gave me a surprise call. She says she is from MCMC (Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission) and that my mobile number has been reported making a lot of spam calls. MCMC has decided to terminate my mobile number immediately.
Before she could proceed, i questioned her why is MCMC calling from a mobile number (018-4879612) which is so unprofessional and not from a land line number. She replied that i am not updated and now mobile numbers are allowed to use. She kept on insisting that my mobile number will be terminated unless i proceed with the call. When she started to threaten me, i told her that i will check with MCMC and hung up.
I did try to call her mobile number after that, but the message is that this number is not active. So this is a confirm scammer. They will make you fell scare and then pretend to transfer the calls to the police. They will eventually give you a mule bank account and request you to pay for the summons.
